The Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) invites all the APVIA director members to send their representatives to take part in APVIA’s 3rd General Meeting of the 3rd Council. This meeting will be held at 14:30-17:00 on 24 October 2017 at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore. APVIA Members can also enjoy the same ACES2017 conference rate as SEAS members.

Longi Green to start building 500-MW Indian factory by Dec - report
Chinese monocrystalline solar products maker Longi Green Energy Technology Co Ltd will by December start the construction of a 500-MW manufacturing base in India, the Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) reported last week, citing a company official.

Cheaper solar pushes Thailand to rejig energy plan
Energy policymakers are set to revise the national power development plan (PDP) for 2015-36 after traditional power projects failed to meet deadlines and the cost of renewable energy fell. According to Maybank Kim Eng, the new plan will revise up the share of renewable energy to 40% by 2023.
