Dear members,
With the development and change of global photovoltaic industry in the past two years, Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) has developed into an international organization with an increasingly growing number of members and extending influence. Always adhering to its lofty mission of “promoting the advance of Asian photovoltaic industry and creating a bright future for energy development and utilization for all humanity”, APVIA has been dedicated to building an information exchange platform, a market and trade platform as well as a technology improvement platform wholly devoted to Asian photovoltaic industry. With joint efforts from all APVIA members, we have enhanced the communication between governments, industries and enterprises in different Asian nations in terms of industry policies, market information, photovoltaic technologies, finance and investment, etc., evidenced by the widely recognized events hosted by APVIA, including “PV Asia Pacific Expo”, “Solar Leaders Dialogue”, “Financial Summit” and “Scientific Conference”, which have facilitated the promotion of cutting-edge photovoltaic technologies and helped APVIA members increase their market share. Furthermore, we have strengthened communication with European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA), Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and other industry associations, maintained global cooperation and mutual benefit among photovoltaic industries of different countries, and promoted the development of solar energy market. Therefore, with the above mentioned development and achievement of APVIA during the past two years, we are proud to say that APVIA have, to a large extent, realized the goals set at the time of its establishment.
In accordance with the Charter of Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA), the term of the first Council and the first Presidium of APVIA will expire soon. After careful deliberation at the 4th General Meeting of the 1st Council of APVIA, the General Election of the 2nd Presidium and the 1st General Meeting of the 2nd Council of APVIA is set to be held at Sands Convention and Exhibition Center of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on 29 October 2013. We are pleased to invite you to join this important event and discuss significant issues.
“Solar Leaders Dialogue”, “Global PV Financial Summit” and “PV Technology Conference” will be held concurrently. Meanwhile, the winners of the first “APVIA Awards” will be announced and the award ceremony will be held.
